TK as reminder

TK is an old editing mark for to come: a placeholder for something that isn't written yet. We spell it TK, not TC, because the letters T and K almost never appear side by side in English, so a search for TK turns up the placeholders and nothing else.

Around here, a TK is an outward-facing reminder to myself. This part of the note is still growing, and there's something here that I want to come back to in the future, but I haven't quite put it into words yet.
